Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (it’s okay if the batter is a little lumpy)
  4. Lightly grease the waffle iron. Pour the batter onto the preheated iron, close it, and cook until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the waffles and serve with your favorite toppings, like syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream. Enjoy!
